This book came in response to the questions of the students who were attending Professor Malik bin Nabi’s council in Cairo, clarifying the concept of culture in what he wrote in “The Conditions of the Renaissance” and “The Idea of African-Asian.” He felt the need to collect his ideas about culture and present them again in an analytical form that stimulates Arab thought. Islam and its movement towards discovering facts and terminology by its own means, and according to the data stemming from its experience.
