Stories of the Prophets: The soul is bound to sympathize with others, and to consider what happens to those around it. Therefore, the Holy Qur’an took great care of the stories. It told us many stories so that we could learn from them the sermon and the lesson. Among the great stories that the Qur’an told us are the stories of the Prophets - peace be upon them - in which there are sermons and lessons that the believer cannot dispense with contemplating during his journey to God Almighty. Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer - may God have mercy on him - collected these stories in a book, to make it easier to benefit from them.
